June 18-19: A hop across the pond

Our flight to Paris, thankfully, was smooth and uneventful. I realized that it has been quite a while since I have last flown. Each seat had it's own screen mounted on the seat in front. We had the option of watching movies, television shows, or the view from the cockpit. You could also play games, watch informational video clips, and listen to music. 

 

The flight attendants served us complimentary beverages once we were in the air, including champaigne and wine. They actually had hard liquor available too, but we opted for the red wine. Bethany thought the little bottles were so adorable that she wanted one for a souveneir. Of course, I will have to dispose of the wine for her.....

 

The food was typical airplane food....
